A
SOLID FOUNDATION...
ACH Direct is the only company of it's kind, authoring
transaction software AND providing a single source payment gateway for
communication and routing. You can rest assured; with DirectBilling
your important transactional data passes only through a tried and tested
source.
Other
companies who provide transaction software solutions merely author software.
They rely on establishing communication links with various processing
networks, but do little in the way processing or providing a common
payment gateway.
At ACH
Direct, we not only author the software you use, we provide the vital
hub for ALL transactions, and provide the ultimate processing source
for your ACH (check) transactions. No other company can provide such
a comprehensive solution for the processing of your company's transactional
data.

Simple
& Easy...
Paying
bills with checks can be a big hassle. For each bill, customers have
to write a check, address an envelope, find a stamp and remember to
do it all in time to avoid late fees. Direct Billing eliminates that
hassle. Since DIRECTBilling payments are made automatically,
customers don't have to be in town to pay bills. This is perfect or
business or people often traveling on the go. Payments can never be
lost or delayed in the mail.
DIRECTBilling
payments gives customers greater control over their finances and provides
the record keeping you need. Customers know the exact payment date
and amount well ahead of time and maintain a good credit rating by
paying bills on time, every time. With electronic payments, customers
always have a record;each bill that is paid automatically from their
bank account is listed in the monthly bank statement. Consumers have
the right to stop or reverse a payment they believe they did not authorize
or is in error and, with DIRECTBilling payments, it
is easy to invest and save your money consistently.
According
to NACHA: The Electronic Payments Association, an average family receives
20 bills each month. At this rate, postage alone costs each family
almost $85 a year. Checks can easily cost another $30 a year. Mailing
of a bill just a few days late may result in late fees of as much
as $30 per bill. Some families and businesses will save hundreds of
dollars a year.
The concept
of DirectBilling has been around for more than 25 years.
In 1998, more than one billion payments were made by electronic funds
transactions . Each electronic payment is deducted from your customers
account on the due date each month so it is easy to track. In contrast,
customers never really know when checks are going to be deducted from
their account. Transactions are secure because few people see electronic
payments. They are confidential transactions. A check passes through
many hands as it is processed.

DirectBilling
can provide your company with powerful features that enable your company
to get receivables due, even when the customers' primary payment method
is rejected. In a recurring transaction environment, companies have
to dedicate valuable resources and time in hunting down funds due for
reasons related to the customer exceeding their credit card limit, closed
account, reissued cards, NSF's, etc.
Built
into the DirectBilling software are back-up payment vehicle choices
that you can utilize. Should your company transmit a credit card transaction
whereby it returns a decline, the software could transmit a second credit
card or a checking account on file. These back-up payment vehicles are
up to 4 levels deep, providing the maximum opportunity to get your funds
due, all in an automated, client defined fashion.
